Affinity Groups with SGD
What are Affinity Groups?
Affinity Groups connect people with similar identities and experiences, building a sense of belonging.
SGD hosts a variety of affinity groups that work to connect QT students with compounding marginalized identities. Research and theories indicate that affinity spaces, spaces where people can come together through shared identities and experiences, are crucial to one's identity development. With input from students, SGD hosts a variety of affinity groups with the help of faculty and staff across the institution.
