Staff & Faculty Safe Zone - MyTalent

SGD is proud to partner with KU HR's Learning and Development team to bring Safe Zone registrations to MyTalent for all staff and faculty. Using this platform helps to streamline registrations, communication, and tracking of employee learning.

To register:

1. Log into your MyTalent account. 

2. On the home page, scroll down until you see the blue "Learning" icon. Click "Learning". 

3. On the home page, scroll until you see the app called "Find Learning". Enter "Safe Zone" in the field and search. 

4. Here, you'll see all the previous and upcoming sessions. Some sessions are designed specifically for certain units. If you are registering independently, scroll until you see the "Open Session" tile (note, there are 2 tiles, one that is for past sessions, and one for upcoming. Be sure to click the correct one). This means the session is open to anyone who would like to attend. If you are attending as part of a group (i.e., your entire department is attending), SGD staff will send the point person specific registration information. 

5. Click the "Open Session" option. Here, you'll be able to see all upcoming sessions, choose the one that works best for you (in person or online (SZ1), and register.
